Photography has been my jam since I was a kid, honestly, ever since I can remember, I’ve had some kind of camera in my hands. I was that girl who begged to take the family photos, made my friends do backyard photoshoots, flew through disposable cameras like they were candy, and collected point-and-shoots like little treasures. I even begged my parents to let me use their DSLR long before I had any business touching it.
Eventually, I saved up and bought my very first DSLR in high school, and that’s when everything clicked. Photography stopped being “just a hobby” and became a huge part of who I am. I loved it so much that I went on to minor in Studio Art: Photography at the University of Arizona, where I learned how to slow down, see differently, and turn my passion into a craft.
It’s where my creativity flows, where I feel most myself, and where I get to really soak in life’s little moments. There’s something magical about freezing a memory in a single snap, and I love knowing those moments will be cherished for years to come.
